Rules and Hints to METT'S
THE BEST DAMN SPORTS TRIVIA PERIOD!

Welcome to my Sports Trivia Mazes.
Since I started collecting baseball cards with my family, I decided to make a web maze strictly on baseball trivia. I received great reviews on my first maze. I am now in the process of bringing the maze back and expanding it to other sports and eventually Star Trivia Mazes. In time I plan on having prices offered to a random selection of one of the finalists. I now have 3 levels of difficulty, and although the hardest maze is difficult,  it is also very possible to make your way through my maze and find the winning code by using logic and persistence in trying the different answer options.  I will try to put up a new maze about every two months.

How a maze work?

To start the maze, click on the sport drop down menu and select a difficulty. ( Baseball only at this time.)  All the questions are either multiple choice or true/false so you do not have to be able to type fast - just click on the correct answer which is a link to the next question.

How many questions are there?

There are over a hundreds in total. But that is a database for all levels. Answer between 7-9 in a row correctly in the easy level, 11-13 in the medium and 15-17 in the hard level and you will finish the maze and reach a page with the winning code. Each MAZE has a unique code to email me from the winning page.

What happens if I get them all right?

You will make it to the web site with a winning code and instructions. Follow the instructions to become a winner for a discount on any of my auctions.

What happens if I miss an answer?

1) Nothing bad. No one will call you names or even know it happened. No scores are tabulated, no one is watching. I have no way of monitoring anyone's progress through the Maze. You can miss as many questions as you like without any penalty. In fact, some people purposely miss questions to explore the Maze further.

2) Just as in a real maze, you won't know exactly where you've missed an answer (made a wrong turn) until you've answered one questions on the main path of questions then you may answer one or several more questions and "hit a dead end" or a loop of several questions over and over. At that point you have to go back and try to pick up the trail. You can do that by hitting the back button at the top of the browser or use the new "GO BACK" link I have conveniently placed  on the bottom of each maze page, or use the "START OVER" button.. (If you think you're too far gone)

Very important hint: You can miss a question, then get one or more right, then hit a dead end.

Very important hint: Also, if you are sure you've answered a question correctly and hit a dead end or enter into a loop, this means you missed at least one question before the question you know you are answering correctly as it must not be on the main path of questions to the end of the maze.

Very important hint: If the questions get really silly, you are probably off in a bad area of the maze. NEW: Instead of a few of the dead ends I have placed a place that tells you are in a bad area of the maze. To reach this page you need to back up at least 3 question, and maybe more in the medium and hard levels. On my first maze I made a few humorous questions in the loops, or when heading for a dead end, and the people playing the maze responded very positive to this feature. ( Gee I think I'm giving to many hints so I'll stop now) When prizes are added I may place prizes in the most remote parts of the maze.

Will I be able to study for the Maze?

Sure, but why? I can't control how you get your answers. Use a group of friends, use the Internet, or your best baseball trivia books. It's does not matter to me how you get your answers to the questions, even if you guess at them.

What should I do if I keep hitting dead ends?

#1) Don't worry, the Maze is hard! If you don't see a page that says "CONGRATULATIONS" with the winning code, it's not because I haven't invited you!

#2) No one is born with all the worlds baseball trivia in side their head. Besides, getting lost in the Maze is not an indication that you are not knowledgeable about baseball or baseball trivia.

#3) It could be you ran into a question which didn't pertain to your particular baseball interests. It only takes one incorrect answer to find yourself on the way to a dead end or to start on the path to a loop of questions.

Good Luck!
